6:30 a.m.              Breakfast, Mansours

7:30 a.m.              Leave for Washington D.C. and Tidal Basin Parking. 

8:30 a.m.              Arrive, Tidal Basin Parking.  Students should have knapsacks with bottled          drinks and snacks. 

       Begin Walking Tour of West National Mall Monuments and Memorials: 

·         Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial

·         World War One Memorial

·         Korean War Memorial

·         Lincoln Memorial

·         Vietnam Veterans Memorial

·         World War Two Memorial

·         Meanwhile, two members of the group wait in line at the United States Holocaust Museum to timed passes. 

10:30 a.m.           Group returns to vehicles at Tidal Basin parking for drinks and snacks

11:00 a.m.           Walking Tour continues:

·         Washington Monument

·         White House viewing

·         National Archives

12:30 p.m.           Lunch, Old Post Office

1:00-5:00 p.m.   Smithsonian Tours and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

·         Smithsonian National Museum of Nature and Science

·         Smithsonian National Museum of American History

·         Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum

·         National Gallery of Art

·         National Museum of the American Indian

·         United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

5:00 p.m.             Meet at Capitol Reflecting Pool and Grant Memorial

5:30 p.m.             Dinner, Union Station

6:30 p.m.             Return to vehicles, Tidal Basin

7:00-8:30 p.m.   Walk to Jefferson Memorial and FDR Memorial

9:00 p.m.             Return to Haymarket, Virginia
